Cetaceans : Conquering the Oceans

Did you know that cetaceans are mammals? Although they are very different from other members of this class, they share several common traits with us, such as the presence of lungs and the ability to carry and breastfeed their young. Totally dedicated to aquatic life, their particular morphology, with a streamlined body, swimming paddles and a caudal fin, has long caused confusion by classifying them as fish.
