Sea Camps
Our Partners

Project Objective
Sea Camps, initiated by the Caribbean Cetacean Society in 2022, are educational programs designed to raise awareness about marine conservation among Caribbean youth. Rooted in the belief that “we protect what we love, and we love what we know,” these camps aim to build a deep connection between participants and the ocean. Through hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and encounters with marine experts, youth explore marine ecosystems, learn about current environmental challenges, and are encouraged to become active marine advocates. In 2023, three Sea Camps were held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, bringing together over 100 youth and featuring over 30 expert talks. These initiatives exemplify CCS’s commitment to educating and inspiring the next generation of Caribbean leaders in marine conservation.
